A lot of facilities lack the resources to bring live/recorded music to patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments.

This program seeks to bridge this gap by recruiting and connecting young, promising, and talented musicians to care homes at which they may selflessly volunteer their time to perform for the unwell.

Volunteer Musicians deliver the healing power of music by performing virtually or going room-to-room to perform acoustically for patients, their families and staff.

Through this program, students gain experience in adapting to different audiences, choosing a repertoire to suit the mood and perfecting their performance skills.

​

Volunteer availability is subject to hospital clearance but we encourage all prospective volunteers to submit an application. We are excited to welcome new volunteers as opportunities become available.
